Orders Open for Limited Edition Evangelion 30th Anniversary Leather Jacket
A new limited edition jacket is set to be released to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the iconic Evangelion franchise.
This new garment is a collaboration between the series’ official fashion brand RADIO EVA and the accessory designers at JAM HOME MADE.
The release is part of the “THE 30” anniversary project, a commemorative initiative honoring three decades of the world-renowned anime series.
Neon Genesis Evangelion has remained a cornerstone of global pop culture since its original broadcast, influencing fashion, art, and technology.
The 30th-anniversary celebrations have already included high-profile collaborations such as a new Evangelion themed digital art tablet from Wacom.
This latest fashion collaboration utilizes the previously released “MONSTAR” jacket as its base, a design renowned for its unique asymmetrical construction.
The left side of the jacket reflects the sharp, rational aesthetic of British riders’ gear, while the right side embodies the rugged presence of classic American styles.
By merging these two distinct “completed forms,” the jacket creates a silhouette defined by the collision of heritage and modern design.
The internal liner and the leather inside the cuffs are dyed in vibrant purple and green to evoke the color palette of Evangelion Unit-01.
A bold, handwritten typography print is featured across the back, identifying the iconic multipurpose humanoid Decisive Weapon.
The left sleeve is adorned with a symbolic graphic of the unit, while the snap buttons utilize a newly developed custom mold.
Vintage-style hardware, including TALON and SCOVILL GRIPPER zippers, has been incorporated to provide an authentic, high-quality finish.
The jacket is constructed from premium chrome-tanned cowhide leather, ensuring both durability and a beautiful aging process over time.
The price for the RADIO EVA “THE 30” × JAM HOME MADE MONSTAR Leather Jacket is 297,000 yen (approx. $1,980 USD / £1,563 GBP) and sizes range from Small to Extra Large.
Sales for this commemorative anniversary jacket officially began on Friday, February 27, 2026.
The jacket is available for purchase at the JAM HOME MADE flagship store in Tokyo and the official RADIO EVA retail locations.
