SEGA’s Tokyo Amusement Park to Host After-Hours Dating Event with Unlimited Rides

Japan’s “Night Amusement Park Rental Grand Mixer” series is bringing its popular large-scale social event to the heart of Tokyo for the first time.
The “Joypoli Night” gathering will take over the Tokyo Joypolis indoor theme park in Odaiba later next month.

Tokyo Joypolis is one of Japan’s most prominent indoor amusement parks, featuring a wide array of electronic and physical attractions that blend digital technology with real-world thrills.
This event series has garnered attention across the country by renting out older amusement parks after dark, breathing new life into local leisure spots while providing a fresh alternative to online dating.

Organizers have noted that the demand for such real-world experiences has spiked as people experience “matching app fatigue” and seek more organic ways to meet potential partners following the pandemic.
Participants at this specific gathering will enjoy full access to the park’s facilities, including unlimited rides on 20 different attractions that range from roller coasters to interactive games.

The entry fee covers an open bar with all-you-can-drink service, ensuring a lively atmosphere for socializing throughout the evening.
Special games and activities will be conducted throughout the venue to serve as icebreakers, making it easier for strangers to strike up conversations in a fun, low-pressure environment.

Tickets for male participants are available for 7,000 yen (approx. $46 USD / £37 GBP), while tickets for female participants, which were priced at 4,000 yen (approx. $26 USD / £21 GBP), have already sold out due to high demand.
A group discount scheme is also in place, offering a reduction of up to 4,500 yen for those who register with friends to encourage group participation.

The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, with doors opening for reception at 18:45.
The mixer will officially run from 19:00 to 21:00.
