Official Persona 3 Reload Watch Unveiled for Series’ 30th Anniversary
A new timepiece has been unveiled to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the highly acclaimed Persona video game franchise.
The “Persona 3 Reload Velvet Room Model Original Watch” offers fans a sophisticated way to wear their love for the iconic role-playing game directly on their wrists.
Persona 3 Reload is a modern remake of the classic role-playing game originally released by Atlus.
The story follows a transfer student who arrives at Gekkoukan High School on Port Island and soon awakens to a mysterious power known as a Persona.
He joins a specialized group of students called the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad, or S.E.E.S., to battle terrifying monsters called Shadows.
These battles take place during the Dark Hour, a hidden period of time nestled between one day and the next.
Throughout the journey, the protagonist frequently visits the Velvet Room, an enigmatic blue-tinted space that exists between dream and reality, taking the form of an endlessly ascending elevator.
This beautiful mechanical watch features a 41-millimeter stainless steel case that provides a perfect presence on the wrist.
The dial incorporates the signature deep blue color of the Velvet Room and utilizes a skeleton design inspired by the elevator lattice seen in the game.
It uses a reliable Japanese MIYOTA 8N24 automatic movement, ensuring precision and quality with a maximum drive time of approximately 42 hours.
The hour hand is also custom-designed to match the aesthetic of the mystical location.
Flipping the watch over reveals a see-through screw-back layout that proudly displays the 30th-anniversary logo of the franchise, allowing owners to watch the internal machinery at work.
It is equipped with a comfortable calf leather belt and boasts a water resistance of ten atmospheres, making it durable enough for daily use.
The timepiece comes packaged in a special blue box accented with elegant foil stamping, and includes a unique PVC warranty card designed to look like a key card prop from the story.
This gorgeous accessory, priced at 27,500 yen (approx. $183 USD / £144 GBP), will be available at special P30th x Daimaru Matsuzakaya pop-up shops in Japan.
The Daimaru Umeda location will host the event from Wednesday, March 4, 2026, until Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
The Daimaru Tokyo location will run its shop from Friday, March 6, 2026, until Tuesday, March 17, 2026.
Fans who cannot visit the physical stores can place made-to-order reservations through the WORLD WIDE WATCH online store.
The online reservation period opens on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, and closes on Thursday, April 30, 2026.
Deliveries for the online orders are scheduled to begin around September 2026.
