Dragon Ball GT’s NYCC Exclusive Super Saiyan 4 Goku Figure Gets Official Online Release
Image by James RichardsonAn exclusive figure of Dragon Ball GT’s Super Saiyan 4 Goku is now available for online pre-order, giving fans who missed its New York Comic Con 2026 release a chance to secure the special collectible.
The “S.H.Figuarts SUPER SAIYAN 4 SON GOKU -Exclusive Edition-” was originally created to commemorate this year’s convention, featuring special coloring and newly sculpted accessories unavailable with the original release.
Dragon Ball GT first aired in Japan in February 1996 and is celebrating its 30th anniversary throughout 2026, revisiting Goku’s adventures after Dragon Ball Z.
The anime follows Goku after he is transformed back into a child and embarks on a journey across the galaxy alongside Pan and Trunks, eventually introducing the powerful Super Saiyan 4 transformation during his battle against Baby.
Super Saiyan 4 combines Goku’s adult appearance with long black hair, red fur, and a Saiyan tail, making it one of the most recognizable transformations introduced outside the original Dragon Ball manga.
Bandai first released an S.H.Figuarts figure of Super Saiyan 4 Goku in November 2021, with the new exclusive edition revisiting that design through a different visual treatment and additional posing options.
For this special release, pearlescent coloring has been applied to recreate the appearance of Goku’s energy aura reflecting across his body, giving the figure a shimmering finish inspired by his powered-up state.
Another key addition is a newly sculpted set of interchangeable crossed-arm parts, allowing collectors to recreate Goku standing confidently with his arms folded.
A 10x Kamehameha effect part is also included for recreating his signature attack from Dragon Ball GT, alongside five pairs of interchangeable hands and three replacement facial expressions.
The completed figure stands approximately 14.5 cm tall, retaining the proportions and appearance of Goku’s Super Saiyan 4 transformation.
Dragon Ball GT has already received several major new collectibles during its anniversary year, including a new Ichiban Kuji collection featuring MASTERLISE figures of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta alongside Pan, Trunks and Super 17.
Bandai has also recently opened US pre-orders for another exclusive Goku figure, with the new “S.H.Figuarts Son Goku -RETURN TO EARTH-“ recreating his appearance in the Yardrat outfit from Dragon Ball Z’s Android Saga.
The NYCC exclusive’s online preorder opening also coincides with Premium Bandai Week 2026, a separate promotional event featuring limited-time restocks of exclusive Gunpla kits, figures and other collectibles.
Image by Charlotte DavisRunning until October 13 at 11:59 PM EDT, the promotion temporarily reduces the usual free-shipping threshold from $100 to $50 for eligible orders placed by registered Premium Bandai US members using the no-signature-required shipping option.
Pre-orders for the “S.H.Figuarts SUPER SAIYAN 4 SON GOKU -Exclusive Edition-” officially opened through Premium Bandai US on October 11, 2026, at 3:00 PM EDT, priced at $75, with shipping scheduled for December 2026.
