Cyberpunk 2077 Arcade Game Confirmed by CD Projekt RED

Arcade game manufacturer UNIS has revealed that they are working with CD Projekt RED to create a brand new arcade racing game based on the hit role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077.
“Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome Rush” will be a combat racing game that allows players to physically hop onto a dedicated motorcycle cabinet and speed through the dangerous streets of Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 is a massively successful open-world action game that immerses players in a dystopian megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour, and extreme body modification.

It follows a mercenary outlaw striving to make a name for themselves in a ruthless society controlled by powerful mega-corporations.

The original video game launched to huge commercial success, drawing heavy inspiration from classic tabletop role-playing systems to offer deeply customizable character progression and engaging story branches.

In this new arcade spinoff, players will engage in high-octane races, intense drifting, and fierce vehicular combat across four extreme courses.

The interactive arcade cabinet features a massive 65-inch 4K screen and a highly detailed, movable motorcycle controller mounted on a motion base.

This physical feedback system leverages the expertise of the manufacturer to recreate the thrilling scale of street turf wars in a true arcade environment.

Racers must utilize a variety of onboard weapons to fight off rival opponents while navigating the futuristic cityscapes at blistering speeds.

The roster of selectable characters features both male and female versions of the original video game’s protagonist, V.

Fans will also recognize other racers in the lineup, with the official trailer showing off characters named Vixen, Reaver, Rico, Tex, and Rebel.

A total of eight different futuristic motorcycles are available for players to choose from.

These unique machines can be freely combined with the diverse cast of characters to match individual playstyles.

The physical machine will be fully showcased at an upcoming trade exhibition in the near future.
