Code Geass Celebrates Its 20th Anniversary With a Huge New 1-Meter Tall C.C. Plush
Image by James RichardsonCode Geass’s C.C. has officially been transformed into a jumbo-sized plush as part of the anime’s 20th anniversary celebrations, thanks to a new release from character goods manufacturer TAITO.
The “DoQute Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Super Extra-Large Plush C.C.” presents the mysterious heroine in the white restraint outfit she wore during her first appearance, with several smaller details drawn directly from the series worked into the design.
Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion originally aired in 2006 and followed exiled prince Lelouch vi Britannia after C.C. granted him the supernatural power of Geass, allowing him to begin his rebellion against the Holy Britannian Empire as the masked Zero.
The anime reached its 20th anniversary in October 2026, with the wider celebrations also including a major touring exhibition dedicated to Lelouch of the Rebellion and Rozé of the Recapture.
TAITO’s DoQute brand specializes in oversized character plushes built around an intentionally cute, simplified design, with many of its mainline releases standing around one meter tall.
Previous DoQute releases have included one-meter plushes of hololive Production’s Usada Pekora, Houshou Marine, Shiranui Flare and Shirogane Noel alongside a similarly enormous Cardcaptor Sakura plush based on Sakura Kinomoto’s Pink Ribbon Dress from Clear Card.
TAITO has also expanded the idea into its smaller DoQute Petit range, including 70 cm plushes of Uma Musume’s Mihono Bourbon and Rice Shower.
C.C.’s version measures approximately 100 cm tall, 70 cm wide and 75 cm deep, making it large enough to function as a floor-standing display rather than the kind of plush that would normally sit on a shelf or bed.
The plush uses C.C.’s first-episode costume, carrying over the black belts running across the neck, torso, arms and legs alongside the gray lines worked throughout the predominantly white outfit.
The oversized sleeves, buckles and fastening details have also been included, preserving much of the original costume design despite the plush’s heavily stylized proportions.
Beneath C.C.’s green hair, TAITO has embroidered the red Geass symbol onto her forehead, matching the mark normally hidden from view in the series.
The finished plush weighs approximately 8.8 kg, adding further to the scale of TAITO’s jumbo interpretation of the character.
TAITO’s DoQute C.C. plush forms part of a much wider 20th anniversary merchandise lineup, which has also included the recently announced return of the full-scale replica of Zero’s mask, the creation of which was supervised by the anime’s original character design staff.
The anniversary celebrations have also produced one of Code Geass’s biggest official crossovers to date, bringing Lelouch together with Mobile Suit Gundam Wing through the ongoing Menuet Zero manga.
The crossover places both franchises within a shared history, with the weakened Earth Alliance facing the expansion of the Holy Britannian Empire before characters from Gundam Wing and Code Geass begin to cross paths within the same story.
The latest installment, the latter half of Chapter 2, was released in October, with the date of the manga’s next update yet to be announced.
Pre-orders for the TAITO GEAR&GOODS-exclusive “DoQute Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion Super Extra-Large Plush C.C.,” priced at ¥66,000 (approximately $419 / £311), will open on November 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM JST.
Orders will remain open until December 21 at 11:59 PM JST, with the made-to-order plush scheduled to ship in May 2027.
