Orders Open as Giant Uma Musume Mihono Bourbon and Rice Shower Plushies Unveiled
TAITO has announced two new additions to its oversized “DoQute Petit” plush series, bringing fan-favorite Uma Musume: Pretty Derby characters Mihono Bourbon and Rice Shower into plush form.
Based on the popular gaming and anime franchise Uma Musume: Pretty Derby, the new releases transform the beloved horse girls into large-scale, stylized plush collectibles designed to stand out in any collection.
Uma Musume: Pretty Derby reimagines famous racehorses as anime-inspired characters who compete on the racetrack while pursuing careers as performers and idols, creating a franchise that has attracted a dedicated global fanbase.
The latest entries in the DoQute Petit range feature Mihono Bourbon and Rice Shower in adorable chibi-style designs that emphasize their distinctive appearances and personalities.
Each plush measures approximately 70 cm in height when including the ears and around 40 cm in width, making them significantly larger than typical character plush merchandise.
The oversized format allows for greater attention to detail while maintaining the soft and charming aesthetic that has become a hallmark of the DoQute Petit brand, which has previously released jumbo sized plushies of some of hololive’s most popular VTuber talents.
Mihono Bourbon’s plush faithfully recreates her recognizable design in a cuddly format that balances accuracy with an approachable appearance.
Rice Shower likewise receives the same large-scale treatment, capturing the character’s distinctive look through a highly stylized and endearing design.
To coincide with the start of pre-orders, TAITO is also launching a promotional social media campaign through its official Japanese X account.
Participants can enter by following the account, reposting the designated campaign post, and checking the results through the campaign link provided in the post.
The promotion will run from June 19 until June 22, with one winner selected for each prize, receiving a coupon code equal to the purchase value of the corresponding plush.
Fans are permitted to enter both campaign giveaways simultaneously.
Pre-orders for the “DoQute Petit Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Mihono Bourbon Jumbo Plush” and “DoQute Petit Uma Musume: Pretty Derby Rice Shower Jumbo Plush” will open via the TAITO GEAR & GOODS online store on June 19 at 11:00 a.m. JST and remain available until July 27 at 11:59 p.m. JST, with each plush priced at 29,700 yen (approx. $205 USD/ £150 GBP) and scheduled to ship in December 2026.
