Co-Op Gardening Game Planted! Coming to Consoles and PC

Publisher Curveball Games and developer Cloth Cat Games have officially announced Planted!, a new cooperative party gardening game scheduled for release in 2026.
The title is currently in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
While the game will be available digitally across all platforms, collectors can look forward to physical editions specifically for the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch.
Senior publishing manager Ed Gregory expressed excitement for the project, noting that the team was immediately impressed by the unique horticultural combat mechanics and playful character designs.
Creative producer Ben Cawthorne revealed that Planted! has been a passion project for the Cloth Cat team for the last five years before finally becoming a reality.
The gameplay combines elements of harvest simulations with sports games, tasking players to grow produce and throw it at goals or opponents within arena battles.
Strategic elements include using fertilizer to grow colossal crops for extra points, stealing from rivals, and utilizing various powerups to gain an advantage.
Players can engage in the chaos through local couch co-op or online multiplayer, with cross-play support confirmed between PC and console versions.
For those preferring a solo experience, the game features a dedicated single player campaign set within the competitive world of professional gardening.
The experience spans eight diverse environments that include unique hazards such as spud turrets and weed bombs to keep the gardening combat unpredictable.
On April 8, 2026, the developers released an announcement trailer and a series of screenshots to provide a first look at the cast of unlikely characters and environments.
