Aretha Collection 1993-1995 Arrives on PS5, PS4, and Switch This July

Edia has officially announced the upcoming release of Aretha Collection 1993-1995 for the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

This compilation is scheduled to launch in Japan on July 30, 2026, with the standard edition priced at 8,580 yen.

Fans can also opt for a special edition priced at 16,280 yen, which includes an illustrations collection, a 300-piece jigsaw puzzle, an acrylic stand, and a soundtrack CD.

The collection features three classic titles originally released for the Super Famicom: Aretha the Super Famicom from 1993, Aretha II: Ariel no Fushigi-na Tabi from 1994, and Rejoice: Aretha Oukoku no Kanata from 1995.

The PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions will receive both physical and digital releases.

Players on the PlayStation 4 will only have access to a digital-only version of the collection.

A notable feature for the third game in the set, Rejoice: Aretha Oukoku no Kanata, is the inclusion of support for two-player local cooperative play.

This release marks a significant effort by Edia to preserve and modernize these retro JRPGs for a contemporary gaming audience on modern hardware.
