Animal Crossing Reveals First Look at New Baskin-Robbins Dream Island

Baskin-Robbins has announced that its Animal Crossing: New Horizons collaboration will soon expand with the launch of a special in-game Dream Island that players will be able to visit throughout July.
The virtual destination forms part of Baskin-Robbins’ first-ever collaboration with Nintendo’s Animal Crossing series, which introduces a wide range of themed desserts, drinks, collectibles, and interactive experiences inspired by the relaxed island lifestyle of the game.

The campaign has been designed to recreate the feeling of exploring a sunny island getaway, with both real-world menu items and digital content working together to immerse fans in the Animal Crossing universe.

Among the highlights is a new seasonal flavour called Animal Crossing Summer Island Feast Ice Cream, priced at ¥420 (approx. $3 USD/ £2 GBP), which blends green pear ice cream representing forests, beige apple sorbet inspired by sandy beaches, and pale blue salt ramune sorbet evoking the surrounding ocean.

The flavour also introduces Baskin-Robbins’ first-ever fish-shaped candy, designed to resemble the silhouettes players encounter while fishing in the game.

Additional themed menu items include character-designed double cups featuring villagers such as Isabelle and Goldie, priced at ¥510 for a Small Double (approx. $4 USD/ £3 GBP) or ¥760 for a Regular Double (approx. $5 USD/ £4 GBP), alongside a premium Nook Inc. Special Double Cup priced at ¥680 for a Small Double (approx. $5 USD/ £3 GBP) or ¥930 for a Regular Double (approx. $6 USD/ £5 GBP) that includes a detachable Timmy and Tommy spoon charm.

Dessert options extend further with items such as the Present Box Single Sundae priced at ¥820 (approx. $6 USD/ £4 GBP), the Night Island Double Sundae priced at ¥1,350 (approx. $9 USD/ £7 GBP), and Gulliver’s Stranded Blue Soda priced at ¥620 (approx. $4 USD/ £3 GBP), each incorporating themed decorations and reusable elements inspired by in-game items.

Take-home offerings include an Animal Crossing ice cream set priced at ¥3,000 for Small scoops (approx. $21 USD/ £15 GBP) or ¥3,560 for Regular scoops (approx. $25 USD/ £18 GBP), as well as a redesigned Variety Box priced between ¥1,360 and ¥4,200 (approx. $9 USD/ £7 GBP to $29 USD/ £21 GBP), and a themed ice cream cake priced at ¥3,900 (approx. $27 USD/ £20 GBP) featuring villagers gathered on a colourful island scene.

The introduction of the in-game Baskin-Robbins Island serves as a digital extension of this campaign, allowing players to explore themed shopping areas inspired by real Baskin-Robbins stores, interactive photo spots, and even a museum showcasing the brand’s history and past uniforms.

Players who own Animal Crossing: New Horizons and have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership will be able to explore the exclusive Baskin-Robbins Island once it becomes available.

To access the island, players simply need to lie down on a bed inside their in-game home and speak with Luna before entering the island’s Dream Address.

The Dream Address will be revealed on July 1 through Baskin-Robbins’ official social media channels and the campaign’s dedicated website.

Visitors will also be able to download exclusive in-game custom designs such as uchiwa fans featuring 31 different flavour designs and uniform-inspired outfits, adding another collectible element for Animal Crossing players to enjoy.

The campaign also extends to participating Baskin-Robbins stores, where customers who purchase eligible Animal Crossing collaboration products and complete a GPS check-in through the Nintendo Store smartphone app can receive an exclusive original sticker while supplies last.

The Animal Crossing x Baskin-Robbins collaboration, including the launch of the new Dream Island and the in-store promotional campaign, will run from July 1 through July 31, 2026.
