007 First Light for Switch 2 Delayed Until Summer 2026

IO Interactive has officially announced a delay for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of its upcoming title 007 First Light.

While the next-generation Nintendo console version is now scheduled for a release in the summer of 2026, other platforms remain on track for their original launch.

Players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store can expect to play the game starting May 27, 2026.

The developer expressed excitement regarding the opportunity for fans to explore the reimagined origin story of James Bond.

007 First Light is categorized as a third-person action adventure shooter that aims to provide a fresh perspective on the iconic secret agent.

Despite the change in the production schedule for the Switch 2, IO Interactive emphasized their commitment to delivering a high quality experience across every intended platform.

The announcement did not include a specific reason for the delay of the Nintendo Switch 2 edition.
