Yohji Yamamoto's Ground Y launches a new Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc collection

The fashion brand Ground Y, which operates under the creative direction of Yohji Yamamoto, has announced a new collaboration collection with the anime film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc.

Ground Y is a brand that proposes new possibilities in fashion with “genderless” and “ageless” styles, interpreting multifaceted elements that synchronize with its concept through the filter of Yohji Yamamoto’s distinctive design.

This new collection is the second collaboration between Ground Y and the Chainsaw Man franchise, following a highly successful partnership for the TV anime series in December of 2022.

This latest collection is significantly larger and more diverse than its predecessor, featuring a wide range of apparel and accessories.

The designs are based on key concepts from the “Reze Arc,” such as “Chainsaw Man,” “Reze,” and “Bomb,” and they incorporate original fabrics that express themes of “slashing” and “explosion.”

Highlights of the fabric choices include “Explosive Tweed,” which uses actual burnt fabric to represent the world of the series, and “Explosive Camouflage,” which combines different textured fabrics to create a complex pattern.

The collection includes a wide range of items, from coats and jackets to bottoms.

Unique accessories such as original teddy bears with “Makima’s eyes” and various necklaces and rings inspired by Chainsaw Man’s blades and the Bomb Devil are also featured, as well as fur boots.

The collaboration visuals feature four members of Sakurazaka46: Karin Fujiyoshi, Yuzuki Nakashima, Mion Matono, and Miu Murayama.

The new collection will be released in two phases.

An advance sale will be held at the Ground Y Shibuya PARCO and Shinsaibashi PARCO stores, beginning next Friday, the 26th of September.

These two stores will also host a special exhibition featuring a giant LED panel display that reacts to visitor movements, creating an immersive, interactive digital experience inspired by the film.

Pre-orders for the collection at these stores began on Friday, the 19th of September, 2025.

A general sale will follow, launching on Friday, the 3rd of October, at other Ground Y direct stores (GINZA SIX, Laforet Harajuku, Nagoya PARCO, Sapporo PARCO).
