VShojo in turmoil as Ironmouse leaves amidst alleged missing charity donation scandal

The popular VTuber Ironmouse has announced her departure from the agency VShojo while simultaneously leveling serious accusations of financial mismanagement against the company.
In a public statement, Ironmouse alleges that VShojo has failed to pay approximately $500,000 in funds that were raised for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.

Ironmouse, who is one of the most-watched female streamers in the world, has been public about her own long-term battle with Common Variable Immune Deficiency (CVID) and has held several successful charity drives for the foundation.
According to her statement, the funds were raised from her Twitch stream revenue, and VShojo was responsible for facilitating the donation on her behalf.

She claims that while the agency had handled previous donations, the money from a major charity event held nearly a year ago has still not been paid to the foundation.
Ironmouse stated that while she wishes to share more details, she has been advised by her attorney to wait as legal proceedings are underway.

The VTuber, who was a founding member of the agency, has now resumed her activities as an independent creator.
As of the time of this article’s writing, VShojo has not issued a public statement responding to the accusations, and Ironmouse’s profile remains on the company’s official website.

The shocking announcement has sent waves through the VTubing community and has elicited reactions from within VShojo itself.
Fellow VShojo member Kson posted a public message to the agency on the social media platform X, stating, “I ask that you be accountable and explain this to the fans who have supported us.”

Kson and another member, Henya, have both announced their own upcoming streams to address the situation with their communities, indicating a growing sense of unease among the remaining talent.
This is the latest case of a VTuber going independent following a disagreement with actions taken by their agency.
Unlike recent cases where Japanese VTubers left their agencies, Ironmouse is continuing to stream using her pre-existing name, whereas ex-hololive talents Gawr Gura and Murasaki Shion have had to re-launch themselves as Sameko Saba and Kurageu Roa respectively.
