Starfield Lands On PS5 April 7 With Free Lanes Update And Terran Armada DLC

Publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios have officially announced that Starfield will launch on PlayStation 5 on April 7, 2026.
The upcoming release coincides with the substantial Free Lanes update and the new story expansion titled Terran Armada.

In addition to the major April expansion, five new Trackers Alliance adventures have been released and are available for players to experience immediately.
The PlayStation 5 version will offer a Standard Edition for $49.99 and a Premium Edition for $69.99, the latter of which includes the base game and paid downloadable content.
To maintain consistency across all platforms, the pricing for the existing Xbox Series and PC versions will be adjusted to match the new PlayStation 5 price points.

The PlayStation 5 edition includes specific console features such as integration with the DualSense lightbar, adaptive triggers, and the touchpad.
Players on PlayStation 5 Pro can choose between a Pro Performance Mode for higher frame rates or a Pro Visual Mode for enhanced graphical fidelity.
The Terran Armada story DLC introduces a fresh questline involving the robotic forces of the Terran Armada along with new characters and rewards across the Settled Systems.

The Free Lanes update introduces a cruise mode that allows for seamless interplanetary travel within star systems, encouraging more exploration and crew interaction during flight.
Additional content in the free update includes the Moon Jumper land vehicle, new enemy modifiers, and a variety of new locations and dungeons to discover.
Quality of life improvements such as cross-outpost storage, a Milliewhale pet, and the ability to carry limited items into New Game Plus are also included in the update.
All existing Premium Edition owners on Xbox and Steam will receive the Terran Armada expansion on April 7, 2026, at no additional cost.
New players can access the full suite of Trackers Alliance bounty hunter content for 700 Creations Credits, while previous owners of the content receive the five new adventures for free.
This milestone represents the most complete version of the space RPG since its original launch on Xbox and PC on September 6, 2023.
