A detailed new watch based on Bandai Namco’s action role-playing game has officially been revealed.
The “CODE VEIN II ‘Battle Axe: Idris’s Conceit’ Original Watch” brings the dark aesthetic of the series to a premium mechanical timepiece.
CODE VEIN II is a dramatic exploration action game where players fight to survive in a ruined near-future world.
The story takes place after civilization has collapsed due to an anomalous phenomenon known as the Rinne.
Humanity barely escapes complete extinction by relying on the power of immortal vampires.
However, the sudden appearance of the Craving Moon causes these vampires to transform into mindless monsters, pushing the world further toward destruction.
The protagonist is tasked with stopping this collapse as a vampire hunter and travels one hundred years into the past alongside a girl named Lou, who possesses the power to cross through eras.
This new watch heavily incorporates the time-travel themes and deep lore found throughout the game.
The skeleton dial features a design motif based on the legendary Battle Axe: Idris’s Conceit technique utilized by the protagonist and Lou MagMell.
A small hourglass inspired by the battle axe serves as the second hand, rotating to quietly keep time.
The face layout features indices that intentionally run backward from twelve to one to visually represent the concept of going back in time.
The bezel also includes unique design elements inspired by the visual effects of traveling through history.
A gold-colored stainless steel case measuring 40 millimeters provides a comfortable fit while offering a refined presence for daily wear.
The back of the case utilizes a see-through design that allows owners to view the Japanese-made Miyota 8N40 Gilt automatic movement inside.
It is paired with a calf leather strap and features a 10 ATM water resistance rating for everyday reliability.
Each purchase includes a PVC warranty card decorated with a Jail motif and a special display box adorned with gold foil logos and a kintsugi sleeve design.
