Pokémon’s New Summer-themed Apparel Collection Features Popular Water-Types

Japanese fashion brand GU has announced a brand-new collaboration with the Pokémon franchise.
The “GU x Pokémon Summer Sea Apparel Collection” brings a refreshing ocean-inspired theme to the company’s affordable clothing selection.

The monster-catching video game series has entertained millions of fans worldwide with its vast roster of unique and powerful creatures.

For this special seasonal release, the designers heavily focused on beloved Water-type monsters that perfectly match a nautical aesthetic.

Fans will easily recognize iconic characters such as Pikachu, Totodile, Gyarados, Snorlax, Psyduck, Greninja, and Tatsugiri seamlessly integrated into the clothing designs.

Monsters like Totodile, Vaporeon, and Lapras naturally evoke intense nostalgia for older fans of the classic video game generations.

Meanwhile, newer additions like Quaxly and Finizen ensure that younger trainers who enjoy the recent Nintendo Switch titles are also well represented.

The marine look allows parents and children to easily coordinate their outfits during family beach trips or upcoming summer vacations.
