Two new Touken Ranbu ONLINE Nendoroids revealed

Good Smile Company, through its specialized brand ORANGE ROUGE, has announced two new Nendoroid figures from the popular game Touken Ranbu ONLINE.

Nendoroid Tsurumaru Kuninaga: Festive Attire Ver. and Nendoroid Mikazuki Munechika: Festive Attire Ver. were announced during Good Smile Company’s “NENDOROID FUNS” live stream.

Touken Ranbu ONLINE is a widely played Japanese free-to-play online simulation game developed by Nitroplus and DMM Games.

Launched in 2015, the game centers around “Touken Danshi” (sword warriors) – historical Japanese swords that have taken on the forms of attractive young men.

Players, as Saniwa (sages), travel through time to prevent malevolent forces from altering history, collecting and training these sword men.

The franchise has expanded significantly beyond the game, encompassing anime adaptations, stage plays, musicals, and live-action films, building a dedicated global fanbase.

ORANGE ROUGE is a collaborative brand between Good Smile Company and Max Factory, specifically dedicated to producing figures of male characters.

This partnership allows for a focused approach to character design and sculpting that caters to the specific aesthetics often found in titles like Touken Ranbu ONLINE.

The upcoming Nendoroid figures will feature Tsurumaru Kuninaga and Mikazuki Munechika, two of the game’s most recognized Touken Danshi, in unique “Festive Attire” versions.

Nendoroids are collectible figures known for their compact size, articulated bodies, and interchangeable parts, allowing for a wide range of poses and expressions. This new release will provide fans with fresh opportunities to display these characters in a celebratory context.

Tsurumaru Kuninaga, known for his striking white outfit and mischievous personality, and Mikazuki Munechika, often referred to as one of the “Five Great Swords” and distinguished by his crescent moon eyes, will now be available in special outfits.
