Everything you need to know about Tokyo’s new JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure store

Bandai Namco is set to open ‘THE★JOJO WORLD’, the world’s first official immersive shop based on Hirohiko Araki’s JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga and anime series, this July.

Located on the 6th floor of Shibuya PARCO in Tokyo, the facility will officially open its doors on Thursday, July 24th, 2025.

If you plan on visiting you’ll first need to make sure you secure a reservation – read on for more information on exactly how to try and grab a spot.

Ahead of the grand opening, exclusive illustrations by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure creator Hirohiko Araki, featuring the nine main protagonists, have been revealed.

These original artworks, created specifically for THE★JOJO WORLD, will be displayed at the facility’s storefront and featured on original merchandise.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, which began serialization in 1987, is a long-running and influential Japanese manga series renowned for its distinctive art style, diverse cast of characters, and unique supernatural powers known as “Stands.” 

Its storyline spans generations, following the Joestar family line through various eras and settings.

Advance Reservations

To manage crowds, advance reservations will be required for entry to THE★JOJO WORLD for the foreseeable future, starting from its opening on July 24th, 2025.

Lottery applications for entry reservations began on Thursday, June 5th, 2025 – you can find application pages for all listed lotteries at the end of the article.

After the lottery ends, any remaining slots or cancellations will become available through a “first-come, first-served” general reservation system, so even if you miss out it’s worth checking regularly to see if any slots have opened up.

The reservation periods are divided into two phases:

• Phase 1 (July 24th – July 31st, 2025)
  • Lottery applications open from June 5th, 11:00 AM JST to June 29th, 11:59 PM JST.
  • First-come, first-served reservations open from July 4th, 12:00 PM JST until 7:00 PM on the desired entry day.
• Phase 2 (August 1st – August 17th, 2025)
  • Lottery applications open from July 4th, 11:00 AM JST to July 13th, 11:59 PM JST.
  • First-come, first-served reservations open from July 18th, 12:00 PM JST until 7:00 PM on the desired entry day.

Additionally, a pre-opening event will take place on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2025.

Lottery applications for pre-opening entry also began on June 5th, 11:00 AM JST, and will close on June 15th, 11:59 PM JST.

This pre-opening includes special invitation slots for “SPW Foundation Admission Exam” Executive Course passers from the “JOJO WORLD Quizzes” event held nationwide since March 2024.

These qualified individuals must present their “SPW Foundation Executive Certification”.

Now that you’re familiar with the reservation system, let’s take a look at everything that Tokyo’s new official JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure store has to offer, from the interior decorations and merchandise, through to exclusive cafe goods and mini games.

Store Interior and Original Merchandise

The interior of THE★JOJO WORLD is designed to offer a unique adventure for visitors. Araki’s newly drawn main illustration, showcasing the nine protagonists, will greet guests at the entrance.

The shop’s layout resembles a corridor, guiding visitors through a wide array of merchandise.

The space is also adorned with various “traces” of Stands and the “Stand Arrow” from the series, alongside original interior designs, encouraging exploration while enjoying attractions, mini-games, and shopping.

A selection of original merchandise, launching when the store opens in July, has been revealed, featuring illustrations from both the anime and the original manga.

  • ¥2,800 each.

• THE★JOJO WORLD Plush Sleeve (Iggy)
  • ¥1,200.

• THE★JOJO WORLD Ribbon Scarves (5 types)
  • ¥1,800 each.

• THE★JOJO WORLD Acrylic Board (Spiral Staircase)
  • ¥3,850.

• THE★JOJO WORLD Acrylic Stickers vol.1 (10 types)
  • ¥660 each (randomly enclosed).

• THE★JOJO WORLD Puffy Keyholders (12 types)

“IGGY CAFE”

The new store will also feature the “IGGY CAFE,” offering food and drink items inspired by JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure characters and motifs.

Some of the menu items include:

• “Iggy Donut Drink Set”
  • ¥1,500.

• “Gelato”
  • ¥990 for two scoops, ¥1,280 for three scoops.

• “Tonio’s Special Pudding”
  • ¥950 (comes with a glitter sticker).

Themed Mini-Games

Two mini-games, offering exclusive prizes, have also been detailed:

• Mini-Game ①: “Returned! Memetaa! Hamon Roulette ~Hamon Energy is Sen-Dō Power!!”

This game is based on the “Memetaa” sound effect from the scene where Zeppeli demonstrates Hamon energy by punching a frog on a rock. 

Players punch a frog on a rock in sync with Zeppeli’s signal, and their result determines which prize they receive.

Prizes include:

• A Prize: Acrylic Boards (12 types)

• B Prize: Hologram Can Badges (12 types)

• C Prize: Die-cut Stickers (24 types)

• Mini-Game ②: “Aim for a Home Run! Oh! That’s a Baseball!!”

Inspired by the TV baseball game ‘Oh! That’s a baseball‘ played by Jotaro Kujo during his battle with Terence T. D’Arby, players press a controller button to bat after a ball is thrown. 

All prizes for this game are Jotaro-themed. 

Prizes include:

• A Prize: Hat Keyholders or Pouches (1 type each)

• B Prize: Acrylic Keyholders (8 types)

• C Prize: Square Can Badges (15 types)
