Bandai Announces Return of Classic Pokémon Tabletop Dice Game

Bandai Spirits has officially announced the return of a classic Pokémon-themed dice battle game, which was first released back in 1997.
The revived Pokémon Plakoro game features a dice battling system that allows fans to engage in strategic tabletop matches.

The game is an updated version of a classic title from thirty years ago, created by reuniting the original development staff.

Pokémon is a world-renowned series following the adventures of trainers as they catch and battle mysterious creatures across various regions.

This new tabletop format brings these global icons to the physical board, combining luck and strategy through unique character-shaped dice.

The game is designed for two players who battle to reduce their opponent’s health points to zero using specific move cards.

Players roll a “Charakoro,” which is a Pokémon-shaped die where the physical shape affects the probability of the roll.

This is combined with “Enekoro” energy dice, which feature customizable faces that players can alter using special chips to match their strategy.
