The Ramparts Of Ice Anime Adds Three New Cast Members

The upcoming high school ensemble drama The Ramparts of Ice has announced the addition of three new cast members to its lineup.
Momoka Kuriki will be voiced by Akari Kito, who is recognized for her performance as Nezuko in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

Yuki Azumi is set to be voiced by Kakeru Hatano, known for playing Tamon in Tamon’s B-Side.

Akine Atagawa will be voiced by Natsumi Kawaida, who recently portrayed Silk in I Left My A-Rank Party.

These three characters are introduced as underclassmen to the story’s protagonist, Koyuki Hikawa.
The production team released a second trailer for the anime on March 12, 2026, which features the opening theme song by the band Novelbright.

Studio KAI is handling the animation for this romantic comedy under the direction of Mankyu, who previously directed The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague.
The series composition is being led by Yasuhiro Nakanishi, while Miki Ogino serves as the character designer and Natsumi Tabuchi and Kanade Sakuma compose the music.

The main cast includes Anna Nagase as Koyuki Hikawa, Fuka Izumi as Miki Azumi, Shoya Chiba as Minato Amamiya, and Satoshi Inomata as Yota Hino.

The story follows Koyuki, a socially withdrawn student whose quiet life with her childhood friend Miki is changed when a boy named Minato attempts to connect with her.
The Ramparts of Ice is scheduled to premiere on Japanese television on April 2, 2026, with a global streaming release on Netflix following on April 3, 2026.
