The Gunpla release schedule for September 2025 is packed with new kits

The official release schedule for new Gundam model kits/Gunpla from Bandai Spirits for September 2025 has been announced.
The lineup features a wide array of new and exclusive items from across the franchise’s history, spread across general retail stores, the exclusive Premium Bandai online shop, and the official Gundam Base retail locations.

The general retail releases for the month include a major new Real Grade kit and a new High Grade.
Let’s take a look at all of the new releases, starting with those that will be available in general retail stores!
General Releases
- HG 1/144 Rick Dom (Gaia/Ortega Custom) (GQ)

This kit from the anime Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is scheduled for release on Saturday, the 20th of September, for ¥3,630 (approx. $25 USD/£18 GBP).

- RG 1/144 Wing Gundam Zero

A completely new Real Grade version of the iconic Wing Gundam Zero from Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, featuring numerous advanced gimmicks, will be released on Saturday, the 27th of September, for ¥4,620 (approx. $31 USD/£23 GBP).

The Premium Bandai “Hobby Online Shop” will also be shipping a number of exclusive kits:

A new kit from the Witch from Mercury: Vanadis Heart side story, priced at ¥3,300 (approx. $22 USD/£17 GBP).


The fan-favorite, jury-rigged mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, is priced at ¥2,200 (approx. $15 USD/£11 GBP).


A new “Ver. 2.0” of the G-3 Gundam from the MSV line, featuring new parts for its signature magnetic coating, priced at ¥4,180 (approx. $28 USD/£21 GBP).

In addition to the model kits, four new sets of official “Gundam Decal” water-slide decals will also be released:
- Gundam Decal No.139 & 140 (for Gundam GQuuuuuuX): Releasing on September 20th for ¥550 each (approx. $3.75 USD/£2.76 GBP).


- Gundam Decal No.141 & 142 (for Gundam SEED FREEDOM): Releasing on September 27th for ¥550 each (approx. $3.75 USD/£2.76 GBP).




Finally, the official Gundam Base stores will be releasing a new, highly exclusive kit:


A deluxe two-pack containing both a gold-plated and a silver-plated version of the Gundam Phenex, priced at ¥22,000 (approx. $149 USD/£110 GBP).
With several new kits to choose from, Gunpla fans can look forward to acquiring some of the new releases and adding them to their collection when they launch in September.
