The Fable Anime Season 2 Officially Confirmed
Production for the second season of the anime series based on Katsuhisa Minami’s manga was confirmed on April 1, 2026, following the conclusion of the initial season that aired from April to September 2024.
Tezuka Productions will return to animate the new episodes with the original main cast reprising their roles to cover the events of the Yamaoka arc.
The first season was directed by Ryosuke Takahashi and featured series composition by Yuya Takashima along with character designs by Kyuma Oshita and Saki Hasegawa.
The story follows an invincible assassin known as Fable, who is ordered by his boss to live as a normal person named Akira Sato in Osaka for one year without killing anyone.
The upcoming season will delve into a new chapter filled with conspiracies that threaten the protagonist’s attempt at a peaceful daily life.
Kodansha USA currently publishes the original manga in English while Disney plus provides worldwide streaming for the animated adaptation.
