The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me With Adoration Casts Two New Characters

The television anime adaptation of the romance series The Duke’s Son Claims He Won’t Love Me Yet Showers Me with Adoration announced the addition of two cast members during AnimeJapan 2026.
Kaito Ishikawa joins the production as Yalmo Parnila, bringing his experience from roles such as Tobio Kageyama in Haikyu!! to the July 2026 series.

Chika Anzai, known for voicing Sakura Nanamine in Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, has been cast as Serafina Parnila.

These new additions join the previously announced lead cast of Yui Ishikawa as Elsa and Soma Saito as Julius.
The project is directed by Hitoyuki Matsui, whose past directing credits include Ninja Nonsense and Knight Hunters Eternity.

Tomoko Konparu is overseeing series composition, while character designs are handled by Yuko Yahiro of Kaguya-sama: Love is War fame.
The musical score is being composed by MICHIRU, and the animation is a joint production between Zero-G and Glass.
The original story was written by Kei Misawa with illustrations by Natsu Mizuno and is available in English through MangaPlaza.

The narrative follows Elsa, the daughter of a fallen aristocrat, who enters a marriage proposal with the elite nobleman Julius.
Despite an initial kind demeanor, Julius tells Elsa after their wedding that he has no intention of loving her, setting the stage for their complicated relationship.
The production team originally announced the TV anime project on February 23, 2026.
Fans can expect the series to premiere in July 2026 following the latest updates shared via the official X account.
