The Dangers In My Heart: The Movie Theme Song Music Video Shared by Yorushika

The Japanese rock band Yorushika has released a new music video for their 25th digital single titled Akane on April 2, 2026.
The song serves as the main theme for The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie, a compilation film that premiered in 119 Japanese theaters on February 13, 2026.

Director Yoshiki Imazu, recognized for his previous work with artists such as King Gnu and Mr Children, collaborated with the band for the first time to create the animated video.
The track was originally released on digital platforms on February 4, 2026, and achieved a seventh place ranking on the Oricon weekly digital single charts during its debut week.

This release marks the second time the musical duo, comprised of composer n-buna and vocalist suis, has contributed to the franchise after providing the opening theme for the first season of the television series.
As of February 28, 2026, the film has grossed approximately 200 million yen at the domestic box office while incorporating re-edited scenes from the first two seasons alongside fresh footage.

The production of the movie featured a shift in leadership as Dali Chen took over directing duties while the original series director, Hiroaki Akagi, transitioned into the role of chief director.
Other returning staff members include series composer Jukki Hanada, character designer Masato Katsumata, and music composer Kensuke Ushio.

The story follows the evolving relationship between Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada, based on the original romantic comedy manga by Norio Sakurai.
Fans can currently view the music video on the band’s official YouTube channel as the film continues its theatrical run.
