Minecraft and Sanrio Team Up for New Hello Kitty and Friends Furniture Add-On
Minecraft has released the Hello Kitty and Friends Furniture add-on, giving Bedrock Edition players a new way to fill their existing worlds with colorful furniture and decorations inspired by Sanrio’s most recognizable characters .
Hello Kitty and Friends is Sanrio’s character universe led by Hello Kitty, with characters including Kuromi, Pompompurin, Chococat, Hangyodon and the Little Twin Stars, each bringing their own distinctive personalities and visual themes to the crossover.
The add-on expands on Razzleberries’ earlier Hello Kitty and Friends DLC, which introduced a farming-focused adventure with familiar characters, changing seasons, special events and more than 180 pieces of furniture and decor.
Unlike that dedicated DLC world, the new furniture add-on can be used within other Minecraft worlds, making it easier to add a touch of Sanrio style to a long-running survival base or your latest creative build.
Several pieces of furniture seen in the original crossover have been redesigned and given expanded functionality, while the add-on also introduces additional items that were not included in the previous release.
The collection covers everything from plush sofas and end tables to functional refrigerators and cabinets that can be used as storage, allowing the furniture to feel like a useful part of your home rather than purely decorative blocks.
Smaller clutter items such as baked goods, stacks of books and vanity accessories can be used to make rooms feel more lived-in, which should be especially useful for players who enjoy adding personality to every corner of their builds.
The available themes include a vibrant red Hello Kitty bathroom, a black-and-pink Kuromi bedroom with chandeliers, a warm Pompompurin kitchen and dining area, and a modern workspace decorated with Chococat accents.
Hangyodon and the Little Twin Stars also inspire a pastel bedroom filled with turquoise furniture, ocean-view windows and star-shaped lighting, giving players plenty of options beyond the usual pink Hello Kitty aesthetic.
Furniture is obtained by crafting a special Vending Machine and feeding it heart-shaped Gems found while mining, with rarer ores providing a better chance of producing the currency needed to purchase new pieces.
The add-on also includes 15 unique achievements based on Hello Kitty and her friends, with each completed challenge unlocking an exclusive character-themed gift through the Vending Machine.
The Hello Kitty and Friends Furniture add-on is priced at 1,510 Minecoins (approx. $8.99 USD / £7 GBP).
It is available through Minecraft Marketplace, where players can also claim one free Keroppi outfit per account until August 28, 2026, before the costume becomes a paid item.
The add-on was released on July 28, 2026, and requires the latest version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, which is sold separately.
