The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 Reveals Opening Theme In New Trailer

The production team for the second season of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten has released a new promotional trailer confirming the opening theme song artist for the upcoming sequel.

Masayoshi Oishi is set to perform the new opening track titled Kimi wa Koibito which translates to You’re a Sweetheart.

Fans can hear a preview of the new musical theme within the latest trailer ahead of the series premiere on April 3, 2026.

The anime adaptation is based on the light novel series by author Saekisan and illustrator Hanekoto, which first debuted on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in December 2018.

SB Creative handles the Japanese print distribution under the GA Bunko label, while Yen Press provides the English language versions for international readers.

Chihiro Kumano is directing the second season at animation studio project No. 9, taking over the creative leadership for this new chapter.

The technical staff includes Keiichiro Ochi returning for series composition and Takayuki Noguchi overseeing the character designs.

Moe Hinata is also confirmed to be composing the music for the production, which begins its Japanese broadcast on April 3, 2026.
