Shiotaio No Sato-San Ga Ore Ni Dake Amai Light Novels To Receive TV Anime Adaptation in 2026

The popular romantic comedy light novel series Shiotaio no Sato-san ga Ore ni Dake Amai, known in English as The Cold Sato-san is Only Sweet to Me, is officially receiving a television anime adaptation set to premiere in 2026.
This announcement on March 18, 2026, included the launch of an official website and social media presence alongside a teaser visual and trailer to introduce the upcoming project.

The production will be handled by Tezuka Productions with Fumio Yoshimura serving as the director and Takashi Aoshima overseeing the series composition.
Daisuke Okushima is tasked with the character designs, while Shun Narita will compose the musical score for the broadcast.
Voice actors Hiiro Ishibashi and Miku Ito have been cast in the lead roles of Sota Oshio and Koharu Sato, respectively.
The narrative centers on Sota Oshio, a high school student working at a cafe who discovers that his classmate Koharu Sato is not actually cold but is instead incredibly shy.
As the two characters spend more time together, they begin to form a closer bond that challenges Sato’s public reputation for being distant.
The original light novel by author Kazami Sawatari and illustrator Achiki first debuted on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in June 2019.
Shogakukan has since published 12 volumes of the light novel series under their Gagaga Bunko imprint as of the latest release.
Fans can expect more details regarding the specific 2026 release window and international streaming rights as the production progresses.
