Target Announces Re-Release of Sold-Out Kanto Pokémon Starter Jacket

Retail giant Target has fully revealed their second exclusive Pokémon merchandise collection, which officially brings back the highly coveted Kanto starter jacket that sold out almost immediately during the first wave.

Following huge demand for the first collection, this second wave expands heavily on the initial release while giving fans a second chance at the popular jacket alongside an entirely new assortment of apparel, outdoor gear, and recreational items.

Pokémon has been a firm fan favorite for three decades since its 1996 debut on the original Game Boy, cementing its place in pop culture through video games, a trading card game, and animation.

All items in the collection will be completely exclusive to Target, and whilst they won’t be available to purchase elsewhere, it’s likely that this new collection will be targeted by resellers in the same way as the first, meaning that it may be hard to get hold of in store.

The new wave introduces these highly anticipated starter-themed pullover jackets for regions beyond Kanto, and also features lifestyle items like puzzles, beach towels, and an instant print digital camera featuring Eevee and its various Eeveelutions.
