Polygon Pictures will handle the animation production with Tadahiro Yoshihira and Hiroaki Ando serving as directors and script writers for the project.

The creative team also includes character designer Yuki Moriyama, production designer Kazuma Teshigahara, and composer Masaru Yokoyama.

The story follows Nagi, a top tier assassin who was left in a comatose state and confined to a wheelchair after protecting his sister, Shizuka.

Set on the treacherous Guicheng Island, Shizuka discovers that the only way to temporarily wake her brother is to expose him to intense murderous intent.

This unique premise drives a violent journey as the siblings battle dangerous genetically doped gangs in what is described as the most dangerous town in the universe.

Kodansha US currently publishes the original manga in English for Western audiences.

Fans can expect the series to premiere during the Fall 2026 broadcasting season.
