Stellar Blade x NIKKE crossover DLC shows off costumes and Scarlet boss fight in new trailer
New DLC for Stellar Blade has been announced which will see the game feature content inspired by the mobile game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE.
Stellar Blade, developed by Shift Up and released in April 2024, is a critically acclaimed action-adventure game known for its stunning visuals, fluid combat, and compelling post-apocalyptic narrative.
Players control Eve, a soldier from an off-world colony, as she battles grotesque creatures called Naytibas to reclaim Earth.
Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is a popular mobile sci-fi RPG shooter that launched in November 2022.
It was also developed by SHIFT UP and led by acclaimed art director Kim Hyung-tae, who also directed Stellar Blade.
NIKKE features a unique vertical shooting gameplay style, compelling story, and a diverse cast of “Nikkes” – humanoid androids designed to fight against alien invaders.
Its distinctive art style and character designs have seen it develop a massive global following.
The newly released trailer for the collaboration DLC provides a glimpse into the content awaiting players.
The video showcases a mini-game that emphasizes shooting mechanics, a hallmark of Goddess of Victory: NIKKE’s gameplay.
