Stark Jegan Headlines Gundam Unicorn MG Gunpla Kit Re-Release
Bandai Spirits has announced the start of pre-orders for the highly anticipated return of several popular Gunpla kits based on Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn.
The MG 1/100 GM II Semi-Striker, MG 1/100 Re-GZ (Unicorn Ver.), and MG 1/100 Stark Jegan are all set to be re-released, allowing fans another opportunity to add them to their collections.
The Master Grade, or MG, line offers highly detailed 1/100 scale representations featuring intricate inner frames and exceptional articulation.
Gundam Unicorn is an acclaimed entry in the Universal Century timeline, known for its breathtaking animation and compelling story.
The series successfully bridged the gap between classic early storylines and later eras, bringing many beloved mobile suits back into the spotlight.
Let’s take a look at the three kits that are set to be re-released!
- MG 1/100 GM II Semi-Striker
- Price: 5,060 yen (approx. $34 USD / £26 GBP).
This kit recreates the mobile suit seen at the Torrington Base with newly sculpted additional armor on the shoulders and left forearm.
The left forearm features a small shield equipped on the outside, making the unit more suitable for close-quarters combat.
Builders will find newly sculpted close-combat weapons, including the iconic Twin Beam Spear and a bazooka.
The Twin Beam Spear features a built-in variable gimmick at the base, allowing the beam blade to be fixed vertically or horizontally.
The signature desert color scheme of the main body is thoroughly reproduced through colored plastic molding.
Water-slide decals containing numbering are included in the box.

This model utilizes new parts throughout the entire body to recreate the specific version of the Re-GZ seen in the series.
The head, chest, forearms, and thighs feature brand-new sculpted exterior parts based on the standard MG Re-GZ frame.
New parts are used for the internal frame and joints, utilizing KPS material to achieve both mobility and a stylish appearance.
The blue-based coloring seen in the animation is accurately reproduced with colored plastic, alongside purple and yellow accents.
The beam rifle has been extended to match the specific proportions of this unique version.
The kit can be transformed into its mobile armor form using the Back Weapon System, and a display base is included.
Water-slide decals are provided to recreate unit insignia markings.

This kit brings the special operations specification of the Jegan to the Master Grade line, based on the MG 1/100 RGM-89D Jegan Type D.
Newly sculpted parts thoroughly recreate the characteristic additional armor on the face, chest, arms, waist, and legs.
The chest armor is sculpted with a balance that considers the form of the added plating while retaining the cockpit hatch opening gimmick.
A newly sculpted triple missile pod reflecting the GM III’s operational concept is included, featuring metallic plastic seals for the sensors.
The forearm weapon racks feature an opening and closing hatch gimmick, allowing builders to store either a grenade launcher or a beam saber.
The recognizable light green coloring of the Type D series mobile suit is perfectly captured in the plastic molding.
A newly sculpted hyper bazooka and beam rifle are included, along with fresh water-slide decals.
Pre-orders for these three re-releases officially opened on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

The GM II Semi-Striker and Re-GZ models are scheduled to begin shipping in June 2026.
The Stark Jegan model is planned for a later shipping window in August 2026.
