Seiko Unveils Limited Edition Hatsune Miku Shinkalion Watch

Seiko has revealed a special collaboration watch based on the anime franchise Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion, which featured Hatsune Miku.
The “Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion: H5 Hayabusa 10th Anniversary Watch” celebrates the 10th anniversary of the transforming robot series by highlighting the Shinkalion H5 Hayabusa, which was piloted by a character inspired by, and sharing the name of, the popular virtual singer.

This new watch honors that crossover alongside the real-world Hokkaido Shinkansen railway line in Japan, which also celebrates a decade of operation after entering operation in 2016.

The watch features a gradient dial blending green and white to accurately reflect the signature colors of the high-speed locomotive.

Stylized purple accents highlight the indexes to complete the recognizable color palette associated with both the train and the virtual idol.

Fans of the singer will appreciate the intricate details, including the three and nine o’clock subdials that prominently feature a motif based on the character’s signature hair ornaments.

Other hidden references include a special cross mark at the 10 o’clock position to celebrate the anniversary and a 12 o’clock index shaped like the robot’s head crest.

The watch utilizes luminous paint on the hands to mimic the glowing headlights of a train during nighttime travel.

The back cover is deeply engraved with the official Hokkaido Shinkansen symbol and a unique edition number confirming its authenticity.

Buyers will also receive a heavy stainless steel metal card modeled after the specialized “Shinca” transportation passes used in the anime series.

The watch and commemorative pass replica are securely housed in a green presentation box that includes a visual art card showcasing the Shinkalion H5 Hayabusa and its pilot for display purposes.

Production is strictly limited to 5,000 pieces worldwide, making it a rare collectible for dedicated anime and Hatsune Miku fans.

The commemorative watch is priced at 65,780 yen (approx. $435.00 USD / £345.00 GBP).

The exclusive watch is currently available to pre-order directly from the PREMICO online shop.
Shipping is scheduled to begin in early August 2026.
