Neptunia Unlimited Coming to PS5, Switch 2, PS4, And Switch

Compile Heart has officially revealed Neptunia Unlimited, the latest mainline entry in the long running Neptunia series following Megadimension Neptunia VII, for PlayStation 5, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.

The game is scheduled to launch in Japan on August 27, 2026, with a retail price of 8,580 yen, while the PlayStation 4 version will be available as a digital-only release.

A special limited edition priced at 19,800 yen will include a physical copy of the game, a box featuring art by Tsunako, a premium art book, a soundtrack CD, the Season Pass, and a Divine Cross promotional card.

The narrative follows the Goddess Neptune in a white void after a mysterious meteorite signals the end of the world, forcing her to navigate a cycle of endings and beginnings to reach the true end.

Players will encounter a cast of characters voiced by series veterans, including Rie Tanaka as Neptune, Hana Shimano as Rouge, and Momoka Terasawa as Ciel.

The gameplay introduces a Flying Goddesses system that allows characters to take flight freely to navigate sky-based mechanics and aerial environments.

New End Battles feature large-scale encounters where every Goddess participates simultaneously to defeat colossal bosses using specialized End Counter Skills.

A promotional campaign is currently underway featuring an announcement trailer and a lyrics video for the song Muteki No Kizuna Re:Boot and Update performed by Rie Tanaka.

The title is being developed in collaboration with Idea Factory to expand the series spacetime lore through new exploration and combat systems.
