Sanrio has announced an adorable new lineup of colorful merchandise featuring some of its most popular mascots.
The “Monster Costume” design series brings a bright, pop-inspired aesthetic to the company’s famous roster of cute animals.
Sanrio is a global entertainment company famous for creating iconic characters like Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Kuromi.

These mascots frequently receive fresh merchandise drops to celebrate different seasons, holidays, and unique fashion trends.
This new release focuses on a vibrant, sweet-filled theme combining candy, stars, and heart motifs with soft, shiny textures.

The characters are depicted wearing fuzzy monster outfits, adding a playful twist to their standard appearances that fans are sure to enjoy.

Select regional stores across Kyushu, Tottori, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, and Okinawa will begin stocking the items a day later, on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
To ensure fairness during the launch period, physical store purchases will be strictly limited to one piece per character for standard items and eight pulls for the blind-box keychains.
Online shoppers will be allowed to purchase up to two pieces per character for the standard items.
