Sanrio’s new Harajuku store and cafe reveals exclusive merch and menu

Sanrio has announced the grand opening of a major new retail and dining complex on Tokyo’s famous Takeshita Street in Harajuku.

The new facility, which combines a “Sanrio Harajuku Store” and “SANRIO CAFE Harajuku Store,” is scheduled to open its doors on Thursday, December 11, 2025.

The complex spans multiple floors of the Takeshita Street Square building, with the shop occupying the first and second floors and the cafe located on the third floor.

The store will offer a massive range of Harajuku-exclusive merchandise, including items featuring characters in unique “Neko Harajuku” and “Fashion” costumes.
