Pure Gold Pompompurin 30th Anniversary Pendant Recreates Every Last Detail of Sanrio’s Iconic Puppy
PREMICO, a Japanese company known for combining fine jewelry and accessories with popular anime and character brands, has introduced a new commemorative item honoring the 30th anniversary of Sanrio favorite Pompompurin.
The anniversary release takes the form of a premium pendant crafted from 999 pure gold, the highest standard of gold purity commonly used in jewelry production.
Created to celebrate three decades of the beloved golden retriever, the pendant recreates Pompompurin’s familiar rounded appearance in a compact three-dimensional design.
Pompompurin is shown embracing the number 30, a direct reference to the milestone anniversary being celebrated.
Different surface finishes have been applied throughout the piece to enhance its visual appeal.
Pompompurin’s body features a soft matte texture designed to emphasize his gentle and comforting appearance, while the number 30 is finished with a highly reflective mirror polish that contrasts against the rest of the pendant.
Instead of his trademark beret, Pompompurin wears a specially designed anniversary crown created exclusively for this commemorative release.
The crown also receives a polished finish and is decorated with a genuine diamond, adding an extra luxury element to the design.
Attention has been paid to reproducing Pompompurin from every angle, with sculpted details extending from the top of his head to his well-known tail-end marking.
The pendant is accompanied by a chain made from 925 sterling silver finished with 24K gold plating, allowing it to be worn immediately without requiring additional accessories.
Collectors also receive a specially produced presentation box designed specifically for the anniversary item.
The packaging adopts Pompompurin’s signature pudding-inspired yellow color scheme and incorporates the official 30th anniversary logo.
The pendant itself measures approximately 1.65 cm tall, 1.03 cm wide, and 0.92 cm deep, making it a compact yet highly detailed commemorative piece.
Due to strong demand, the initial production allocation has already sold out, prompting PREMICO to open orders for a second manufacturing run.
The Pompompurin 30th Anniversary 24K Gold Pendant is priced at 274,780 yen (approx. $1,900 USD/ £1,400 GBP), and orders currently being accepted are expected to ship from early August through PREMICO’s official online store.
