Yu-Gi-Oh Brings Back Mai Valentine’s Harpie Lady for New Official Release
Kotobukiya has officially revealed a new statue of one of Yu-Gi-Oh!’s most famous monsters, with Mai Valentine’s Harpie Lady set to join their popular OSHI WORKS figure line.
The new “OSHI WORKS Harpie Lady” depicts the winged monster wearing her Cyber Shield, recreating the sharp wings, powerful physique and confident expression associated with one of Mai’s signature cards from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters.
Harpie Lady became closely connected to Mai throughout the original anime, serving as the foundation of a deck built around different Harpie monsters, support cards and combinations designed to strengthen them on the field.
OSHI WORKS is Kotobukiya’s more affordable figure range, with releases designed around standardized square bases and display systems that make characters from the same series easier to arrange together.
Harpie Lady measures approximately 28cm tall when displayed with the longer of the two included support rods, creating an airborne pose with her wings spread and claws extended beneath her.
A magnetic connection secures the statue to its base while still letting you adjust its position, with both long and short support rods included to alter the height and arrangement of the display.
The same base system also makes it possible to position multiple compatible OSHI WORKS figures together, which should be especially useful for anyone already collecting Kotobukiya’s growing Yu-Gi-Oh! lineup.
Harpie Lady already has an obvious companion in the range through the “OSHI WORKS Mai Valentine” figure, which was released earlier this year and recreates the duelist most closely associated with the monster.
Kotobukiya has also expanded the Yu-Gi-Oh! side of OSHI WORKS with monster releases including “Blue-Eyes White Dragon” and “Red-Eyes Black Dragon,” extending the series beyond its human characters with two of the anime’s best-known dragons.
Pre-orders for the “OSHI WORKS Harpie Lady,” priced at ¥9,350 (approximately $59 / £45), are now available through reputable hobby goods retailers such as HobbyLink Japan, ahead of its scheduled April 2027 release.
