Pre-orders open as Atlus confirms Persona 3 Reload for Switch 2

Atlus has announced that its role-playing game, Persona 3 Reload, is being ported to Nintendo’s next-generation hardware, the Switch 2.
Persona 3 Reload is a faithful and comprehensive remake of the classic PlayStation 2 title, Persona 3, which was a pivotal and genre-defining entry in the long-running Persona series.

The remake was first launched in February of 2024 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.
A further remake of another game in the Persona series, Persona 4, was revealed earlier this year.

The new Switch 2 release will bring the Persona 3 Reload to a Nintendo platform for the first time.
The story follows a transfer student who discovers a “hidden” hour between one day and the next, awakening a special power that allows him to summon a Persona.

Persona 3 Reload was rebuilt from the ground up for the modern era, featuring completely new graphics, modernized quality-of-life features, and a stylish user interface.
The remake also includes new scenes, expanded character interactions, and additional voice-over that were not present in the original game.

In Japan, the Switch 2 version will be available in several different editions.
A standard physical and digital edition will be offered for 7,678 yen (approx. $52 USD/£38 GBP).

A Digital Deluxe Edition will be available, which includes a digital art book and a soundtrack app.
There will also be a Digital Premium Edition, which contains all the deluxe content as well as the “Persona 3 Reload DLC Pack.”
The game’s major story expansion, the “Episode Aigis Pack,” will also be available for purchase separately.

The new version of the game is scheduled for a worldwide release on Thursday, the 23rd of October, 2025, with pre-orders beginning on the 31st of July.
