Naruto’s First-Ever Electric Guitar Collab Officially Launches This October
Image by Charlotte DavisNaruto Shippuden has made its way into the world of electric guitars through an officially licensed collaboration with Vader Guitars, combining a limited Rasengan-themed instrument with straps and guitar picks inspired by the anime.
Instead of focusing on creating decorative pieces as is often the case with official anime collabs, Vader has built the collection around equipment that musicians can actually use, led by the world’s first officially licensed Naruto Shippuden-themed electric guitar.

Naruto Shippuden follows Naruto Uzumaki during the second major part of Masashi Kishimoto’s story, continuing his journey toward becoming Hokage while expanding the conflict surrounding Sasuke Uchiha, the Akatsuki, and the tailed beasts.

The Vader Guitars collection first made its public debut at AnimeCon UK in Birmingham in June 2026 and is fully authorized by TV Tokyo, with official licensing carried across the guitar and accompanying accessories.

At the center of the collaboration is the “Naruto Shippuden Rasengan Electric Guitar,” a limited-edition model covered with references to Naruto himself rather than using a broad cast collage across the body.

A large graphic of Naruto performing his trademark Rasengan stretches across the body, the Uzumaki spiral appears on the upper section and Naruto’s name is written in kanji alongside the lower neck, giving the instrument a look built specifically around the series’ protagonist and his signature technique.

Underneath the Naruto artwork is a full-spec electric guitar with an American alder body, hard rock maple neck, maple fingerboard and 24 medium-jumbo frets.

A pair of double-coil humbucking pickups handles the electronics alongside master volume and tone controls and a three-way pickup selector, while a Twin Pivot vibrato bridge is included for players who want to make use of the instrument beyond simply collecting it.

The guitar also uses individual die-cast machine heads, a Graph Tech NuBone nut and a 64.8 cm scale length, with its 24-fret layout providing a full two-octave range on each string.

Only 100 of the Rasengan guitar are being produced, with each one supplied alongside a collector’s Certificate of Authenticity and a Naruto Shippuden gig bag.

The collaboration collection also includes four officially licensed guitar straps based on the Sharingan, Hidden Leaf Village, Naruto’s iconic running pose and the Akatsuki cloud motif, each priced at £24.99 (approx. $34 USD / £25 GBP).

All four use full-color double-sided printing on polyester and Naruto-branded vegan-friendly endpieces, while their adjustable construction makes them suitable for electric, bass and acoustic guitars.

There is also a Naruto Shippuden guitar pick tin, priced at £19.99 (approx. $27 USD), containing 12 different double-sided celluloid picks featuring characters and symbols from the anime.

The 0.88 mm medium-gauge picks feature Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata, Kakashi, Gaara, Itachi and Kurama among the artwork represented across the set, with all 12 stored inside a reusable metal collector’s tin.

The “Naruto Shippuden Rasengan Electric Guitar” is priced at £299 (approx. $405 USD / £299 GBP), with Vader accepting pre-orders through a £20 deposit before requesting the remaining balance around two weeks before shipping.

The guitar is currently expected to ship in October 2026, while the straps and pick collection are already listed for purchase through Vader Sound.

There is sadly one major limitation for fans outside the UK, as Vader’s current Naruto Shippuden license only covers the UK market and the company does not presently ship the collection internationally, although it has said that it is working on expanding availability in the future.
