Hatsune Miku and Honkai: Star Rail’s Robin Team Up for New Crossover Song

Hatsune Miku has officially teamed up with Honkai: Star Rail singer Robin for a new crossover music video that brings together songs associated with both virtual performers.
The collaboration is titled “Summer Sky Medley: Tell Your World × Only by Chasing the Wind,” combining Miku’s hugely influential “Tell Your World” with Robin’s recently released single “Only by Chasing the Wind”.

The project rearranges the two original tracks into a single medley performed by Miku and Robin, whose singing voice is provided by Chevy.
“Tell Your World” was originally written and composed by kz for a Google Chrome commercial that began airing in Japan in 2011 and became one of the most recognizable songs from Hatsune Miku’s early rise into mainstream popular culture.

The commercial itself focused heavily on the creative community surrounding Miku, bringing together close to 100 musicians, illustrators, singers, dancers and other creators while showing how their work could spread and connect through the internet.
Robin’s half of the medley comes from “Only by Chasing the Wind,” a new HOYO-MiX single released on August 26, 2026.

The song is connected to Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.5 and its ongoing storyline surrounding Robin, adding a much newer piece of music to a medley built around a Miku song with more than a decade of history.

A separate video message from Hatsune Miku to Robin was also released through Miku’s official social media accounts ahead of the collaboration, teasing the meeting between the two singers before the full MV premiered.
The crossover continues a recent run of Hatsune Miku music collaborations, following August’s “Miku-Maxxing” with Canadian electronic artist Grimes and Vocaloid producer SatapanP.

Miku also teamed up with hololive singer Hoshimachi Suisei earlier this summer for Lotte’s “Cold and Blue Summer” campaign, with the pair performing “Ao no Sumika,” best known internationally as an opening theme for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2.

“Summer Sky Medley: Tell Your World × Only by Chasing the Wind” premiered through Hatsune Miku’s official YouTube channel on September 5, 2026 and is available to watch internationally now.
