Bandai Confirms Re-Release for Four Exclusive G Gundam HG Gunpla Kits
Bandai has confirmed the return of four popular Gunpla model kits based on Mobile Fighter G Gundam’s eccentric and diverse mobile suits.
This latest wave of re-releases includes the fan-favorite “HG 1/144 Mandala Gundam” piloted by Kyral Mekirel alongside iconic machines from Neo France and Neo America, as well as a unique variation of the Death Army mobile suit.
High Grade kits are the most popular line in the Gunpla hobby because they offer a great balance of color accuracy and poseability at an accessible 1/144 scale.
Mobile Fighter G Gundam diverges from the franchise’s traditional military themes by focusing on a global martial arts tournament where nations settle political disputes through one-on-one combat.
The Gundam Fight tournament features unique mecha designs that reflect the cultural themes of their respective countries, resulting in some of the most unconventional silhouettes ever seen in the series.

Builders can display the Neo France representative with its elegant cloak and deployable rose bits to recreate the fencer-style combat of George de Sand.

The “HG 1/144 Death Beast” is a variation of the standard Death Army mobile suit which combines its familiar upper body with a much larger quadrupedal lower section.
Pre-orders for the Gundam Maxter, Gundam Rose and Mandala Gundam Gunpla kits are currently open via Premium Bandai Japan, with shipping currently scheduled for November 2026.
Pre-orders are also open through Premium Bandai US for the HG 1/144 Gundam Maxter
kit, with shipping scheduled for November 2026, whilst the HG 1/144 Death Beast
is scheduled to be released in February 2027.
