Bandai Unveils Gundam Rogue Orbit Collector’s Edition and Exclusive Gunpla Kit
Bandai Namco has fully revealed the Collector’s Edition for GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, with the premium release headlined by an exclusive Gunpla kit of protagonist Mobile Suit Gundam Helix that fans won’t be able to buy separately.
The “GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT Collector’s Edition” includes a special “HG 1/144 ARK-10 GUNDAM HELIX (EARTH BLUE Ver.)” Gunpla alongside physical Gundam Card Game promos, a steel case, and the additional content found in the game’s other premium editions.
Standing around 15 cm tall when assembled, the included Gundam Helix is a special color variation of the upcoming standard HG kit and has been confirmed as exclusive to the game bundle.
The regular HG 1/144 Gundam Helix is also planned for release during 2027, but Bandai has yet to announce its exact launch date or pricing, making the Earth Blue version one of the first opportunities to secure a physical model of GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT’s protagonist machine.
Earth Blue also carries directly into the game itself, with anyone who pre-orders GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT receiving early access to an equivalent Gundam Helix color customization.
Unlike the physical Gunpla, however, the in-game color isn’t permanently exclusive to pre-orders and can eventually be unlocked through normal progression.
The Collector’s Edition also includes a premium steel case decorated with an exclusive blueprint of the Gundam Helix and a five-card Gundam Card Game promo pack featuring specially commissioned artwork of the Mobile Suit and characters from the game.
Buyers additionally receive the contents of the physical Launch Edition, including reversible cover artwork and an 11 x 17-inch poster.
All of the Digital Deluxe content is included as well, adding a Mission Reward Booster, 14-color Mobile Suit Color Pack, Premium MOD Skins Set, and a Digital Artwork & Music Selection.
The Collector’s Edition reveal arrives alongside the biggest look yet at GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT itself, including two new Mobile Suits that expand the game’s lineup beyond the ARK-10 Gundam Helix.
The first is the BMP4/6 “Bau Bhalam,” a bulky single-eyed machine piloted by Big Paul, leader of the Mars-based sand pirate group Red Grit.
Its heavy armor and enormous physical sword give it a noticeably different appearance from the comparatively streamlined Gundam Helix, while Big Paul’s group hunts the mysterious Apocalypse and raids wealthy transports to supply settlers living on Mars.
Also joining the lineup is Elaine Galath’s TRA122E/B “Calice,” which takes a more knight-like approach through its pointed head, elaborate armor, and large lance.
Elaine is a Knight Commander of the Trezor Council and an accomplished Mobile Suit pilot who fights directly alongside the forces under her command.
The latest trailer also shows an unidentified black Mobile Suit with glowing red eyes, suggesting Bandai Namco still has several major machines to reveal before the game arrives next year.
Players will be able to extensively customize the Gundam Helix through different weapons, frames, thrusters, Apocalypse Units, and color schemes, with individual weapons providing their own actions and skills for different approaches to combat.
Online co-op for two to three players has also been confirmed alongside the single-player experience, although Bandai Namco has yet to fully explain which missions will support multiplayer or whether cross-platform play will be available.
Four editions of GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT are being offered for US fans, starting with the $59.99 Standard Edition containing the base game.
The $59.99 physical Launch Edition adds the reversible cover, 11 x 17-inch poster, and a single Gundam Card Game promo card featuring Sofia, while the $79.99 Deluxe Edition instead combines the game with the Mission Reward Booster, Mobile Suit Color Pack, Premium MOD Skins, and Digital Artwork & Music Selection.
At the top of the range, the $159.99 Collector’s Edition combines the Launch and Digital Deluxe extras with the exclusive Earth Blue Gundam Helix Gunpla, steel case and five-card promo pack.
The Collector’s Edition is being offered for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC through the official Bandai Namco Store.
GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT is scheduled to release worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam on March 5, 2027.
