PokéPark Kanto Opens Ticket Applications for April 2026

Yomiuriland has officially opened the lottery application process for April admission tickets to the permanent outdoor facility “PokéPark Kanto.”
This massive new entertainment area allows visitors to search for Pokémon in a lush natural environment.

It is named after the Kanto region, the setting of the original Pocket Monsters Red and Green games released in 1996.
The facility is scheduled to officially open its doors to the public on February 5, 2026.

The opening of PokéPark Kanto comes at a monumental time for the franchise, as The Pokémon Company recently kicked off its official 30th-anniversary celebrations with a nostalgic teaser video.

The excitement for the series is currently at an all-time high, with multiple sectors of the Japanese pop culture industry participating in the festivities.
Fans visiting Tokyo for the park opening can also stop by Pikachu Sweets in Ikebukuro to try the new Rayquaza-themed donuts celebrating the upcoming Legends Z-A game.

For those looking to celebrate the series in other ways, Juchheim and Mary’s Chocolate Company have both revealed extensive Valentine’s Day confectionery collections featuring updated character rosters for 2026.

Additionally, the Pokémon Center has just announced the heartwarming “Little Daydream” merchandise line, which features pre-evolved Pokémon cuddling with plushies of their evolved forms.

With so many events and product launches converging in early 2026, securing a ticket to PokéPark Kanto is expected to be highly competitive.
Applications for the opening months of February and March have already concluded due to extreme demand from fans.

The current lottery covers admission dates throughout April 2026.
Applications opened via the official website on January 5 and will run until January 13, with winners expected to be notified of the lottery results around late January.

Successful applicants must complete their payment by January 31 to secure their tickets.
Yomiuriland also announced that lotteries for admission from May 1 onwards will take place between the 1st and 12th of every month.
