The Pokémon Company has officially unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming generation of its world-famous Pokémon franchise, revealing two new special versions of the series mascot, Pikachu.

“Pokémon Winds and Waves” for the Nintendo Switch 2 will feature the two variants, known in Japan as Kazepika-kun (Wind Pikachu) and Namipika-chan (Wave Pikachu).

These unique characters appear in the debut footage wearing stylish coastal outfits that perfectly suit the tropical atmosphere of the new region.
