The Pokémon Company has announced the grand opening of the new Pokémon Center in Fukuoka.

The new store is a replacement for the one that was previously open in the Hakata AMU Plaza building and will be considerably larger area than the old store, as it aims to be able to handle more visitors following a 120% increase in the number of tourists visiting Kyushu.

The old Fukuoka store was too small to handle the increased number of tourists visiting

Pokémon Centers are the official retail stores of the Pokémon franchise and offer a wide array of exclusive merchandise, including plush toys, trading cards, video games, apparel, and collectibles.

They often serve as community hubs for Pokémon enthusiasts, hosting events and providing spaces for fans to connect and engage with the brand.
