One Piece’s Mother’s Day Chocolate Collab Returns for 2026 with New Illustrations

Japanese confectionery manufacturer Lotte has announced the return of an annual collaboration between the hit anime franchise One Piece and their popular brand Ghana Chocolate.
The “One Piece x Ghana Chocolate Mother’s/Father’s Day Campaign” provides fans with heartwarming new artwork celebrating familial bonds each year.

Last year’s collaboration featured a host of popular characters paired with their respective “Mother” or “Father” figures, such as Nami, Nojiko and Bellmere, as well as Jewelry Bonney and Kuma.

One Piece is a massive global phenomenon created by Eiichiro Oda that originally began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997.
The legendary manga boasts over 500 million copies in circulation worldwide.

The series follows Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates as they embark on a grand adventure to find the ultimate treasure left behind by the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger.
The TV anime adaptation has been broadcasting since 1999 and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary in October 2024.

The current Egghead arc resumed its broadcast on April 5, 2025, following a brief production pause, and is scheduled to conclude in late December 2025.
Fans are now eagerly anticipating the start of the brand new Elbaph arc, which is planned to begin airing in April 2026.

This ongoing confectionery partnership builds upon last year’s successful promotion by introducing six original illustrations featuring different character pairings.
The heartwarming artwork focuses on the deep connections between parents and children, framed by special heart-shaped carnations.

The first visual features Nico Robin and Nico Olvia, illustrating their enduring love for one another despite being separated by vast distances.

The second design highlights Tony Tony Chopper and Dr. Kureha, capturing the young reindeer’s shy gratitude alongside his mentor’s pride in his continued growth.

The third pairing showcases Sanji and Sora, showing the young cook being held in his mother’s arms.

A second phase of the promotion focusing on Father’s Day will launch in late April, bringing even more exclusive character visuals to fans.
Fans can also participate in a special giveaway hosted on the official Ghana Chocolate X account to win an assortment of chocolate items.
A total of 100 lucky winners will be selected through a random lottery draw to receive the prize package.

To enter the contest, users must follow the official account and repost the designated campaign message, which will be posted on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 10:00 AM JST.
