ONE PIECE CARD GAME Reveals First-Look at New Heroines Vol. 2 Extra Booster Cards
Image by James RichardsonBandai has revealed the first major wave of cards from “ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2,” showing off new cards for Nami, Nico Robin and several more of the series’ most popular female characters ahead of the Extra Booster’s release later this year.
The new cards were shown during the “ONE PIECE Card Game Special Stage” at ONE PIECE DAY ’26, where Bandai also used the event to preview its eighteenth main booster and several new high-rarity cards.

Heroines Edition vol.2 is the second Extra Booster built around the women of One Piece, following the first Heroines Edition and arriving shortly after the ONE PIECE HEROINES anime special adapted from the light novel series.

That focus gives Bandai plenty of room to pull characters from different eras and storylines, and the latest reveal confirms new cards featuring Nefertari Vivi, Nami, Shirahoshi, Boa Hancock, Rebecca, Nico Robin and Jewelry Bonney.
Nami and Nico Robin received some of the biggest attention during the presentation, with both characters shown as part of a new group of Heroines Special cards featuring artwork created to emphasize the character-focused identity of the set.

The pair also make natural headline choices for the second Heroines release, with both Straw Hats having already become some of the most sought-after characters from the original Heroines Edition among collectors.
Robin receives another important addition through a newly revealed Leader card, giving players a fresh version of the Straw Hat archaeologist to build around rather than limiting her presence in the set to collectible alternate artwork.

Vivi also returns after serving as the sole new Leader in the original Heroines Edition, while Hancock, Shirahoshi, Rebecca and Bonney widen the selection beyond the Straw Hat crew with characters drawn from Alabasta, Fish-Man Island, Amazon Lily, Dressrosa and the Worst Generation.

Bandai has not yet unveiled the complete EB-05 card list, meaning the seven newly shown characters represent only part of what will ultimately be included when the set reaches players later this year.

The Heroines reveals were followed by an even larger preview of Booster Pack 18, which is currently being built around both Water Seven and the increasingly important Knights of God.
Franky is finally receiving a Leader card in the set, fitting naturally with the Water Seven side of the booster and giving one of the longest-serving Straw Hats a long-awaited chance to headline his own deck.

Nico Robin appears again in Booster Pack 18 through a new Super Parallel, or Manga Parallel, making her one of the biggest characters across both sets revealed during the ONE PIECE DAY presentation.

The Knights of God side of the booster introduces another new high-rarity treatment with the Knights of God Super Parallel, with Gunko chosen for the first revealed example.

Gunko will also make her first appearance as a Leader card, giving the recently introduced character an unusually prominent debut in the trading card game.

One of the most unexpected announcements came from legendary artist Yoshitaka Amano, whose work across the Final Fantasy series has made his flowing, highly detailed fantasy illustrations instantly recognizable to generations of players.
Amano has created original One Piece artwork featuring Loki and Saint Figarland Shamrock, with both cards scheduled to appear in Booster Pack 18 and offering a completely different visual interpretation of two characters currently central to the Elbaph storyline.

The Amano illustrations will receive parallel treatments, including foil-stamped versions that should make them some of the more visually unusual cards in the upcoming booster.

Booster Pack 18 is currently scheduled for release in Japan during November 2026, with additional card reveals expected before the full set launches.
The Card Game announcements formed one part of a particularly busy ONE PIECE DAY ’26, with several other major projects revealed or updated throughout the weekend.
Nike unveiled a global One Piece collaboration led by three completely reworked Air Max Plus designs inspired by the Gomu Gomu, Ope Ope and Mera Mera Devil Fruits, accompanied by jerseys, caps, T-shirts and a vest drawing directly from the manga.
Image by James RichardsonTwo new theatrical movies were also announced, with ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY scheduled for summer 2027 during the manga’s 30th anniversary year.

The second movie, ONE PIECE FILM BAAD, will follow in 2029 as the television anime approaches its own 30th anniversary, with story details still being kept secret.

Netflix added four more names to the cast of its live-action One Piece Season 3, confirming Emilio Sakraya as Koza, Omid Abtahi as Toto, Jamie Ward as Pell and Nabeel Khan as Chaka for The Battle of Alabasta.

The second WORLD TOP 100 popularity poll also concluded during the event, with Monkey D. Luffy taking first place ahead of Roronoa Zoro, Sanji, Nami and Trafalgar Law.

The results will lead to new material beginning in 2027, with the top 30 receiving special outfits drawn by Eiichiro Oda, the top 50 becoming new ONE PIECE Card Game cards and the top 15 appearing in anime eyecatches.
WIT Studio’s THE ONE PIECE remake is also approaching during the same period, with the new adaptation returning to the beginning of Luffy’s journey and currently scheduled for a worldwide Netflix debut in February 2027.

ONE PIECE Heroines Edition vol.2 is scheduled to launch in Japan on October 31, 2026, while the English edition is planned for October at an MSRP of $4.99 per pack, with further card reveals expected as release approaches.
