New official MLB T-shirt immortalizes Shohei Otani’s legendary performance as the “Greatest Sho Ever”
A new, official T-shirt is being released to commemorate the historic, “two-way legend” moment from Shohei Ohtani on October 17th, when he led the Dodgers to the World Series.
The T-shirt, produced by the popular US apparel brand “RotoWear,” is an officially licensed product of the MLB Players Association (MLBPA).
The shirt’s design features the iconic phrase “THE GREATEST SHO EVER,” a celebratory headline that was used by media outlets around the world to praise Ohtani’s unprecedented performance.
The commemorative shirt is made from a premium, soft, ring-spun cotton and polyester blend, making it comfortable for both everyday wear and for cheering at the ballpark.
Its design features the proud message in white and red text, set against a vibrant “Dodger Blue” body.
This new release offers a premium, officially licensed way for fans to wear their pride and celebrate the legendary moment.
The new collectible will be available for pre-order in Japan exclusively through “PGS,” one of the country’s largest official merchandise stores for sports, music, and entertainment.
The “Greatest Sho Ever RotoWear T-shirt” is priced at ¥5,800 (approx. $39 USD / £31 GBP).
Pre-orders for the new shirt began on Monday, the 20th of October, on the official PGS website.
For fans in the US, the shirt is available directly from the manufacturer, RotoWear, priced starting from $30 USD.
The T-shirts are scheduled to be shipped in late November of 2025 to fans in Japan, while fans in the US can expect orders via the RotoWear website to ship within 1-9 business days.
