Tenko-saki No Seiso Karen Na Bishojo Ga Mukashi Danshi To Omotte Issho Ni Asonda Osananajimi Datta Ken Anime Details Announced Including Release Date Cast And Staff

The upcoming television anime adaptation of the romantic comedy light novel series Tenko-saki no Seiso Karen na Bishojo ga, Mukashi Danshi to Omotte Issho ni Asonda Osananajimi Datta Ken is scheduled to begin its broadcast in July 2026.
Commonly referred to by its shortened Japanese title TenBin, the project has officially revealed its main visual along with several key cast and staff members.

The story follows Hayato Kirishima, a high school student who is unexpectedly reunited with his childhood best friend, Haruki Nikaido, after seven years apart.

While Hayato originally mistook Haruki for a boy during their childhood play sessions, he discovers she has transformed into the school idol known for her beauty and athletic prowess.
Voice actress Ikumi Hasegawa will lead the cast as Haruki Nikaido, while Shunichi Toki will provide the voice for the protagonist, Hayato Kirishima.

The supporting cast features Miharu Hanai as Himeko Kirishima, Natsumi Haruse as Minamo Mitake, and Fuka Izumi as Saki Murao.

Chuanfeng Xu is set to direct the series at studio project No.9, a production house known for its work in the romantic comedy genre.

Deko Akao is handling the series composition, while N Nei Kurahashi is responsible for the character designs.
The musical score will be a collaborative effort between Ryosuke Nakanishi, Naoki Tani, and Yuri Morita, with Daiki Hachimaki serving as the sound director.

Fans can expect the series to air on TOKYO MX and BS Fuji, among other networks, starting in July 2026.
