New JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure art book covers Diamond Is Unbreakable to Stone Ocean
A new official art book has been announced, which will collect the key animation (“genga”) from the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure anime series.
“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime Key Animation Collection – AAA2″ is a comprehensive new 192-page collection that features over 400 pieces of key animation from the acclaimed studio David Production.
The book covers three parts of the long-running anime series: Part 4 (Diamond Is Unbreakable), Part 5 (Golden Wind), and Part 6 (Stone Ocean).
It also includes a special bonus section for the spin-off OVA series, Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan.
In addition to the key animation frames, the book also includes a collection of full-color promotional illustrations and Stand visuals.
A key highlight of the new book is the inclusion of two special, exclusive interviews.
The first is a “cross-talk” interview with the voice of the Part 6 protagonist, Jolyne Cujoh, Fairouz Ai, and members of the anime’s staff.
The second, and most anticipated, is a special roundtable discussion with the production team of the upcoming new anime adaptation of Part 7, Steel Ball Run.
This will be the first interview with the newly revealed creative team, and it comes just as the main voice cast for the new series was announced earlier today.
The newly announced main cast for Steel Ball Run includes Shogo Sakata as Johnny Joestar and Yohei Azakami as Gyro Zeppeli.
This new art book offers fans a deep, behind-the-scenes look at the production of the beloved anime, as well as a first glimpse into the creation of its highly anticipated next chapter.
“JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Anime Key Animation Collection – AAA2” is priced at ¥3,300.
The book is scheduled to be released on Friday, the 26th of September, 2025, at bookstores across Japan.
